New Ryanair route links East Midlands and La Rochelle
If you live within easy reach of England’s East Midlands airport, the French Atlantic Coast is your oyster this summer thanks to a new service launching on March 28.
Ryanair are running three flights each week to La Rochelle, enabling more British holidaymakers to discover the varied delights of Poitou-Charentes.
And if you fancy eating oysters, you’ll find some of the best in France along this glorious stretch of coast.
La Rochelle is a gem of a town, famous for its photogenic old harbour with its twin towers, and packed with historic buildings, fascinating museums and quaint shopping streets.
And with the airport so close to the town centre, you can be relaxing at a quayside café just a short while after touch-down.
