Futuroscope
With its IMAX screens and augmented reality attractions, dynamic cinema and interactive experiences, Futuroscope is the French theme park for all the family – the perfect fun day out or short break with a range of on-site hotels.
Located just outside Poitiers, Futuroscope is easy to reach from the airport and city centre. On arrival, you’ll receive a map of the park and performance schedule in English to help plan your visit.
Futuroscope is constantly pushing the boundaries to create exciting new visual and interactive experiences. New for 2011 is The 8th Continent, an interactive game with a strong environmental message, and Sea Monsters, a 3D journey beneath the waves.
Climb aboard your expedition vehicle to interact with futuristic animals in The Future is Wild and perform a high-level ballet in Dances with Robots. Take a hilarious 3D journey on Apollo 11 in Fly me to the Moon and thrill to the 4D adventures of Arthur and the Minimoys. As evening falls, take your seats for the fabulous Blue Note Mystery, a mix of fireworks, music and lasers on a vast aquatic stage.
