Fête du Cognac – 26-28 July 2012
The historic town of Cognac gets into party mood with La Fête du Cognac, a food and drink festival which celebrates not just the town’s most famous export, but also delicious Pineau de Charentes, Vins de Pays Charentais and a host of local food specialities.
The 15th annual event takes place over the evenings of 26, 27, and 28 July beside the picturesque river Charente, a great opportunity to enjoy al fresco tastings in a friendly atmosphere.
Tickets cost just €5 per evening – free for under 15s – or for 16€, you can enjoy a delicious four-course dinner with an aperitif and glass of wine.
Each evening will feature two concerts by well-known artists, one at 2100 and the other at 2300, so come to Cognac and join the party – you’ll be most welcome!
